Welcome to the website home of the Delano Athletics! We are a Class C amateur baseball team located in south-central Minnesota and are members of the North Star League. Established over 100 years ago we've embraced baseball players from our tradition rich baseball community. Players on our current roster range in age from 17-39, and eighteen of them graduated from Delano High School.
The Athletics have appeared in 18 state tournaments, including a 1988 Class C Championship victory over North Star League rival Maple Plain. Home games are played at historic Municipal Stadium at Central Park, future home of the 2013 Class B & C Minnesota State Amateur Baseball Tournament.
