DELANO, MN - In the first of three games between fellow NSL East foes the Loretto Larks bested the Athletics, 9-4 in 12 innings.

Loretto jumped out to an early, 4-0 lead, but the Athletics bounced back in the fifth inning and tied the game 4-4. A five-run 12th inning won the game for the Larks, improving their league record to 3-0.

The game was nothing short of dramatic as two great teams battled it out to the end.

The Athletics will have a few days off, before they travel to Cokato on Sunday, May 29 at 2:00 p.m. at Brooks Lake Park.
